After 28 years of working on corporate mainframes (1970-1998) two former colleagues formed Avant Internet Services Ltd to service the needs of a variety of businesses who were deciding that they needed a presence on the Internet.

In the process of building and supporting many Internet (and Intranet) sites, Avant became increasingly involved in Data Extraction and Reporting (B.I.). Realising that many software packages exist now for various business tasks (some with integrated accounting systems, that are often not really up to the task), we have focussed on building customised solutions to cater for needs that may have arisen since the installed software was originally purchased.

It is a costly enough exercise correctly entering all your accounting data, and of course it has to be completely accurate. Often company's find that they are entering data twice, in order to be able to properly analyse portions of their business activity. This adds costs, time and is open to inaccuracy.

While not possible with some cloud solutions, (where ODBC-style database connections are often not possible), we can usually extract data from your existing trusted and correct databases, and produce customised results for you, to assist with managing your business needs.
